When planning a campervan holiday in Scotland there are so many “must see and do’s”

Top of the list must be to visit a castle, but which one?

The most famous obviously being Edinburgh and Stirling Castle.  We recommend getting off the beaten track and finding your own magical castle or historical building!

Finding a place to stay can be stressful when touring any country. That stress is eliminated when staying in a campervan in Scotland as we are the only country in the UK to allow “freedom camping”. if this is not for you then there are a wide range of campsites that give you that sense if freedom but with the luxury of having facilities at hand.

There a wide range of activities to choose from in Scotland to suit everyone. These do not have to be high impact or adrenalin filled by any means. When staying in such beautiful and remote locations beachcombing is a  popular way for all the family to pass the time. You never know what you might find!

A visit to a whisky distillery has to be on that “must do” list and there is no better island than Islay in order to tick that off that list!

Islay has an impressive 9 distillery’s on the Island.

We hope we have inspired you to plan your next campervan trip around Scotland and look forward to hearing from you!
